Chorus fault restoration performance
Chorus has today provided an update on its fault restoration performance as at 17 August, 2017.
As a commitment to transparency, Chorus is providing the latest figures every week throughout winter.
Fault restoration across the country has remained stable since the previous update, currently sitting at 20.8 hours.
Chorus’ website includes a network outage checker (https://www.chorus.co.nz/outages) which people can use to see if there is an outage in their area. The tool gives an overview of the outage and estimated restoration times.
Fault restoration performance month to date at 17 August, 2017:
- Faults logged with Chorus: 19,426
- Faults restored month to date: 19,511
- Average time to restore: 20.8 hours
- Current open faults: 1129
- Faults open for more than three days: 55
